Budapest: Pearl of Danube

One of the most beautiful cities in Europe and most livable, Budapest got its name form the cities of Buda and Pest which were united to form a single city in 1873.

The best way to admire the city is to join a bus tour with other travelers. Browse through the famed structures, monuments and buildings that defines its character and culture.

At night, it is best to cruise along the Danube River and marvel at the lights and splendor of Budapest’s famous establishments.

Paris: The Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is France’s global icon, the most visited paid monument and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. Truly a breathtaking moment that left me in awe as I walk closer and closer to the tower.

Visiting the tower has always been a dream, to see its grandeur with my own eyes. Spending time admiring the structure is an experience I will tell over and over again.

Prague: Charles Bridge

Charles Bridge
Originally called the Stone Bridge but has been the “Charles Bridge” since 1870. The only means of crossing the river Vltava until 1841, the Charles Bridge was the most important connection between Prague Castle and the city’s Old Town and adjacent areas.

Here is a view of the Charles Bridge over the River Vltava with the Prague Castle in the background.

The bridge is crowded from end-to-end with tourist, street performers and street artist. Baroque statues of saints decorates the bridge that forms a unique connection of artistic styles. The statues are now replaced with replicas with the originals safely kept in the museum.

At the end of the bridge is the road going to Prague Castle.

Get The Meat

Craving American food after shopping for suits at the Entertainment Hall of SM Mall Of Asia. We ended up in Gumbo thanks to their staff with a fancy hat that looks so festive. Inside the restaurant, the ambiance is so New Orleans-like to me (credit to my countless hours of watching “The Original” series online) that made me shout, “Pour me some whiskey and give me some meat!”

We ordered the Bourbon-Style Baby Back Ribs and Grilled Pork Chops with 2 side dish – Cajun rice for both, fries and coleslaw. The meats are tender and juicy with just the right flavor in the sauce. Both are big servings for a Petite order.

Looking forward to going back and try other choices in their menu.
